We went to camp to finish the deck and ramp. I was so glad to get out of the house!! I sat in the truck and knit for a while and then got out to look around the yard. Noticed animal tracks in the snow and ice in our yard. What are these? DH said he things they are coyote tracks......looking for the rabbit that has been around all summer.

A little closer look at the "dog" tracks. Coyote???? Damn well could be! Hear them howling all summer and fall at night!!

These are rabbit tracks for sure...smaller ones are the squirrels. No bird feeders outside this winter, so the animals are looking for food elsewhere. We are hoping that by not feeding the birds the mice will not take over the camp while were gone. Did have one in the traps on Sunday. And there were some mouse droppings in the bedroom..but not like last year when they came inside to get into the 50# bags off sunflower seeds we kept at camp.

Just a little bit of snow to show for all the storms we've had this season. The warm weather we had sure did a good job on taking down the snow levels. Mother Nature just made more room for the next big dump!
